Nikelle is the owner and therapist at Crescent Moon. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she studied communication. She worked in the sales industry for 7 years and then realized that assisting people to better optimize their health and well-being was her passion. She decided to attend massage school and learned skills to coach people in creating and maintaining balance in their bodies. Believing that the body needs to relax as a first step towards pain release and tension, Nikelle’s technique focuses on a simultaneous blend of therapeutic bodywork and deep massage through a relaxing and comfortable treatment experience. Deeper relaxation, as well as muscular and energetic release are sought through the use of breath work, contract/relax, and stretch.
Believing in continual learning of effective practices, Nikelle studies Thai Bodywork at the Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage in Evanston, IL., which enables her to offer Thai sessions in addition to traditional table work. She is honored to promote and facilitate a sense of good health and healing with her clients.
Most recently, Nikelle has began her 200 hour yoga teacher training studies, locally in Lake Geneva at Indigo Yoga Center. She is passionate about continue to bring awareness to the mind, body, and spirit connection to find balance, joy, and well being in her community. Stay tuned to for some exciting yoga opportunities forming soon!
NEW THERAPISTS AT CRESCENT MOON STARTING LATE APRIL 2019!
We are excited to introduce:
Joanne Siebers, LMT- Joanne “Jo” is a Nationally certified Massage Therapist and holds a certification in prenatal Massage. She had been providing Massage Therapy to the Glenview, IL area for the past 16 years until recently moving to Williams Bay, WI. With an array of techniques and/or modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and others, Jo provides a massage that promotes relaxation as well meeting the specific and individual needs of each client. She brings harmony to the body by increasing communication within the musculature so that the client feels more unified and relaxed while lessening the distraction of specific muscle tension. Massage really helps us connect and/or reconnect back to ourselves, to listen to our bodies so we increase our ability to discern our needs. Too often the importance of this connection is neglected. It is Jo’s hope that after a massage, you will leave with an overall amazing feeling: light on your feet, relaxed with more awareness, energy and able to take deeper breathes.
Nicole Scharpf, LMT- Nicole (Nikki) Wisconsin Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Nationally Board Certified in Bodywork and Massage (BCTMB). She graduated from the Florida College of Natural Health, Miami, FL in 2011. She currently practices swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone massage, and plans to further her training to offer a wider scope of modalities. Nici provides safe, ethical, and communicative bodywork to all clients.
